Weddings
COMING SOON - I am currently developing the flower field, and wedding flowers will be available in the near future.
We have a range of seasonal, sustainable wedding florals for your special day, that won’t cost the earth. Your wedding day is one of your most memorable experiences in your life! It’s such an exciting and magical day, but it can also be a little overwhelming. Choosing flowers is one of the most enjoyable and important parts. We have a wild variety of locally grown blooms for your wedding day. We are able to supply flowers throughout the British growing season from April to October. We sell loose flowers in buckets as part of a DIY service, for couples who want to create their own arrangements. You can choose from either a pastel or bright pallet. As to the variety, this will be the growers choice as to what is in season and what is looking great at the time. The buckets will contain a variety of flowers, foliage and herbs.
Bouquets and Buttonholes
We also provide an upgraded wedding service. We can also supply bouquets and buttonholes. Bouquets are available in small, medium or large for brides or bridesmaids, as well as a small flower girl posy. Hand tied bouquets are created in a natural garden gathered style, in the colour scheme of your choice either green and white, soft pastels or bold brights. The bouquet will be finished off in either a natural hessian or ribbon to match your scheme. We are not able to provide a full floristry installation service, and you should contact a wedding florist if this is what you require.
Please contact me for more information regarding wedding flowers.
Here’s a step by step guide of how to plan for your wedding flowers:
-
To give you idea each bucket will have approximately 70 stems. Below is a rough guide on stem numbers:
Bridal bouquet- 30-50 stems
Bridesmaid bouquets- 25-40 stems
Button holes -5 stems
Table posies/ jam jar -10 -15 stems
Larger table arrangements-20-50 stems
-
Consultations take place over email. Once you have an idea of what flowers you need for the wedding. Then please email me your order.
-
I like to cut the flowers as close to the wedding as possible, so your flowers wither be ready the day before the wedding or the morning of the wedding.
-
This will be the growers choice on what is flowering on the farm at the time, if you have specific palette of either pastel or brights I can tailor it to this.
-
In the UK we are very dependent on the weather for the right conditions to grow the flowers. If something happens to the flowers in a storm etc. I am in contact with other flower growers who will be able to replace any flowers.
-
All bouquets will be presented in floral bags with water to ensure they stay fresh for your wedding day.
