Otto’s Bloom is a flower farm based near Hythe Kent. I qualified in horticulture with the RHS, and I have studied floristry and growing flowers. I have a unique approach to floral design from my many years experience in horticulture and design. For the past 10 years I have worked as a garden designer, and during this time I designed and built two show gardens for The Hampton Court Flower Show. Alongside floristry I’m an artist, and I have created large, colourful, abstract paintings, exhibiting and selling my work. I have always been infatuated with flowers and I wanted to combine my love of flowers and working outdoors with my true passion of growing flowers.

‘The Beauty of flowers is forever captured in the way floral designers make them a part our life’s memories’

I like to grow flowers that are unusual in shape, form, colour and texture to give you a unique arrangement. I enjoy growing organically, from seed and I use my skills to create bouquets that are bold and wild.

I grow British flowers that are fresher and more sustainable than imported cut flowers. I use organic methods of production which respect wildlife and the soil, with no harmful chemicals or pesticides being used. I am not competing with supermarkets, and the varieties of flowers I grow are often not available in shops. The flowers I grow have an abundance of scent and vivid colours, qualities often lost through imported flowers. Flowers will be cut to order guaranteeing you the freshest flowers.
